Tim began his professional career as a financial analyst, where he quickly discovered that what mattered most to him wasn’t the numbers — it was the people behind them. More than 30 years ago, that realization led him to insurance, where he found his true calling: helping individuals, families, and business owners protect what they’ve worked so hard to build.
A proud Cal Poly alumnus, Tim is deeply rooted in the community he serves. His commitment to integrity, service, and long-term relationships has earned him multiple awards recognizing both his generosity and his exceptional business practices. For Tim, success isn’t measured solely by policies written, but by trust earned and lives protected. He believes insurance should be easy to understand and thoughtfully designed. Every client receives clear explanations of their coverage and confidence that nothing has been overlooked.
Outside the office, Tim enjoys spending time with his family, exploring wine country, and heading out on weekend fishing trips.

Cindy developed a passion for insurance early on, becoming a licensed independent insurance agent and joining Tim’s growing business in 2003. She has spent her career navigating and mastering the ever-evolving health insurance industry, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service—especially in a field where personal agent-client relationships have become increasingly rare. Medicare is Cindy’s true specialty. She focuses on Medicare Supplements from leading carriers and brings extensive expertise in Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plans. As a Covered California–certified agent who stays current on the complexities of the Affordable Care Act, Cindy also helps individuals and small groups secure the best possible value in health insurance coverage.
Outside of work, Cindy enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling the world, and water and snow skiing.
Jack McGee - Owner, Agent
Genie-Rose Cruz - Agent, Commercial Account Manager
Jack, son of Tim and Cindy, was born and raised in San Luis Obispo. After attending Cuesta College he joined the family business and became a licensed agent in 2018. He loves his job because as an insurance broker, we look out for our client's best interest and that is very rewarding.
Outside of the office, Jack enjoys outdoor activities with his wife, parents, and siblings. Some of his favorites are hunting, fishing, surfing, and skiing.

Genie-Rose brings over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and uses that knowledge to support clients every day. Known for her kindness and approachable nature, she makes working with an insurance agent feel more like talking with a trusted friend. McGee Insurance has been fortunate to have Genie-Rose on the team since 2019.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Kelsey moved to San Luis Obispo to attend Cal Poly, where she graduated and met her husband. They fell in love with the area and now call SLO home, where they live with their dog and cat. Kelsey started her insurance career with the McGees in 2020 and has enjoyed growing with the team ever since.
Outside of work, she loves being outdoors, especially hiking and exploring new trails around the Central Coast, and spending time with friends and family.
